Introduction to biomolecules


This course provides an introduction to the general characteristics of biomolecules, the importance of chemical bonds in biological functions, the role of water and minerals in biological processes, the structure, function, and biological relevance of carbohydrates, specific polysaccharides and their biological roles, and the structure, function, and implications of lipids in health.
