20th Century in China


The course covers the end of the Qing Dynasty, the establishment of the Republic of China, the Chinese Civil War, Mao Zedong's leadership and radical campaigns, post-Mao reforms, China's integration into the global economy, leadership and policy in modern China, and cultural and social movements in 20th century China.
